Cleaner Production Virtual Centre (CPVC) Malaysia is hosted by the Cleaner Technology Unit, Department of Environment Malaysia, to help inform and educate Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises about Cleaner Production opportunities available for their activities.
In the year 2011, two Cleaner Production Roadshows were conducted. First, Central Zone CP Roadshow was conducted at Hotel Palm Garden IOI Resort, Putrajaya on 12th July 2011. Subsequently, Southern Zone CP Roadshow was conducted at Hotel Katerina, Batu Pahat, Johor on 20th September 2011.
This year, Cleaner Production project focusing on Malaysian Batik Industry is in full swing . We look forward reviewing the outcomes by the middle of 2013. Constructive findings will be shared with the Community of Malaysian Batik Industry.
